How about a very special weekend away in the Wairarapa for you and someone you love. Starting on Friday, make your way to Ranginui Retreat in time for perhaps a swim or game of tennis and then a relaxing dinner with pre-dinner drinks and canapes. On Saturday take in some of the amazing sights in the Wairarapa. A walk in the Tararua Ranges, a visit to Pukaha Wildlife Centre, take a walk to our nearest vineyard across a paddock of sheep, a visit to Greytown for retail therapy, a drive out to fabulous CastlePoint, or to see the amazing Putangirua Pinnacles. Or, of course, try winetasting in Martinborough. Saturday night we host a dinner with a local winemaker. And when we say local, we mean literally within a ten minute drive of Ranginui Retreat. You will enjoy a wonderful three-course meal, local wine and a wine tasting plus conversation with the winemaker that will be both informative and fun. Sunday morning provides the opportunity for a lie-in or opportunity to visit some of the attractions you missed on Saturday as you head home.

This is a fun weekend away where you can combine seeing the wonderful Wairarapa with a Wine and Food evening with a local winemaker who will sit and chat with you about all things relating to wine. The package includes
